Corporate Volunteering by VinPac – Connecting to Country and Each Other

Continuing their annual commitment to giving back to the community, staff from the Endeavour Group (VinPac and Pinnacle Drinks) recently joined Environmental Connections for a corporate volunteering day at a property in Eden Valley. Together, they helped boost local biodiversity by planting 400 native tubestock along a first-order watercourse within the Marne Saunders catchment.

The team worked alongside new property owner Mandy, who is passionate about restoring the landscape. Her goal is to rejuvenate a previously cleared paddock that she has chosen not to graze, connecting it to an adjacent area that had been planted out by Trees for Life under the previous owner. Although the Eden Valley fires impacted parts of the property, natural regeneration is well underway and the new plantings along the creek line are enhancing this recovery even further.

For the volunteers, the day was as much about connection as conservation. Team members from across the Endeavour Group (north and south) enjoyed meeting colleagues and getting their hands dirty for a good cause.

One participant shared:

“Getting outside and enjoying the fresh air, knowing you’re planting a tree that will outlive me, is really special. I didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as I did, but I’ll definitely be volunteering again next time.”
